As part of the Pall-Ex network, our pallet distribution division offers cost-effective, palletised freight delivery services throughout the UK and Europe.

The Pall-Ex Group was founded in 1996 by Hilary Devey and provides a nationwide membership network of the UK’s leading hauliers.

Every member within the Pall-Ex network operates under a joint mark of quality, therefore, all collections and deliveries on behalf of the network are audited to provide the highest possible levels of palletised freight service to our customers.

Pall-Ex NEXUS Transport System

NEXUS is a free and simple web based system, designed and supplied by Pall-Ex, to enter and manage consignments in real time from any PC with an internet connection.

The system allows our customers to enter and manage their freight, process all necessary paperwork and connect directly with our own system at Gorton Brothers.

Within this system customers can input their consignments, (and save all details for future use), they can then print consignment notes and the labels for their pallets – which are supplied blank, by us!

Once dispatched, customers are able to view the ‘track and trace’ facility and have access to the scan reports and POD images.

Damage free or immediate payment

We have an additional packing service for a premium of £20 per pallet, where we guarantee no damage to the customer’s product.  On the rare occasion that the product is damaged, we guarantee a full and swift payment for the cost price of the goods. Although there is a claims process to go through, as soon as we have all the correct documentation, we will make an immediate payment. Standard insurance conditions apply.
